Ironman Training – Day 93

Tuesday:
Swim: 1800 yards; Run: 8 miles; CorePowerYoga

Felt good this morning…a little sore after yesterday’s workout.  I felt sluggish when i got to the pool.  But I continued to do the drill swim with a few 200 yards one-arm, then a 100 normal thereafter.  It really makes me focus on my stroke, keeping it long and strong.

The run today, again, was extremely tough to get through.  It’s always those runs after the hard run that I get worked.  I had no motivation to do it.  I had to run the same mile stretch as I did yesterday because it’s the only road that is somewhat safe to run on with all this ice.  I pushed through it, as usual, and got it done.

Also, just got in a 1/2 hour core power yoga session.  I think it’s really helping me stretch and get loose after my big workouts.
