Top of the Key

Less than a week till Ironman.  It’s about 9pm, just finished up packing and we’re aiming to leave at 6am tomorrow morning.  Which means a wake up call at 4am…not a problem as long as the coffee maker doesn’t quit on us.  Pretty good swim this morning, although a bit tentative with the conditions of the water in the pool.  But managed to survive.  Off to Whole Foods to shop and get everything we can think of…no Whole Foods in Idaho. Rode my bike at about 6pm to get some miles in, nothing crazy, just an easy spin.

Feeling pretty good about the trip ahead.  Packed some extra cold weather gear, arm, leg and knee warmers, a winter hat and gloves, just in case.  Hoping we won’t need them.  But better prepared than not.  Off to bed now.  Sleep is crucial this week.
