O2 Training, Run, Massage

Pretty nice line up today. Started it off with a little breakfast with my wife up at Mickey C’s. She’s been getting in my head a little about a bagel for breakfast, we were eating one every morning for the 6 months leading up to CDA…but have taken a small break from them. I think i’ve had 2 in the past 2 months. After savoring every last bite of a toasted sesame bagel with light cream cheese and sliced tomato, I headed up to the BCSM to meet with Craig for another O2 session. A tapered down version because i was on stabalizer. Forgot to turn on my oxygen though for the one main set I had, and no wonder I was redlining it the whole time. Lesson learned. Rode for a another 25 miles outside, and then headed home for a quick run.

4 miles with no heart rate monitor, listening to my feet, feeling my form. No music. It’s been a nice release to do this every once in a while. More so on the light weeks. I plan to race on Sunday with no monitor either, just letting ‘er rip!

Massage with Jess to wrap up a productive day. Total leg session, and so worth it. Her hands are magical. My legs always feel phenomenal when I leave her office. She truly is talented.
