A Typical Thursday
Written by admin on September 26, 2008 – 6:32 am -Here’s how today went:
5:00 am - Wake up, drink coffee
5:50 am - Leave for Masters Swimming
6-7:15 am - Masters and then some (2750 yards)
7:30 am - Eat whatever I can, bike to the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine for O2 workout with Craig
10:30 am - Ride home from the center (60 miles)
11:00 am - Run (10 miles)
12:30 - finish run, walk home
1:00 pm - Stretch, shower, eat first real meal of the day
1:30 pm - Check email, begin work
2:15 pm - grab an iced americano to pull me through the afternoon
2:30 pm - Meeting with Matt Kolb - Pedal to Properties (Thank him for getting me hooked on triathlon)
3:00 pm - Work
7:00 pm - Pack the dogs in the car, pick up dinner at Tokyo Joe’s
8:00 pm - Spend quality time with my wife and dogs
9:15 pm - Bed
The past few weeks, each Thursday has consisted of this routine in some shape and form. Not enough time in the day to get everything done, but I try. Workout was solid, after resting all of Wed. Need to push through the weekend, then a stabilizer week.
