Top of the Key

Just returned from seeing my friend, Craig, at the Boulder Emergency Hospital after he was hit by a car yesterday afternoon up in North Boulder near Amante Coffee.  Not very encouraging for someone who was out riding almost everyday last week!  He’s doing fine, some broken ribs, a few stitches, road rash, but most importantly, he’s alive.  It’s sort of a wake up call to me, and should be for everyone out there riding the roads of Boulder County.  Even though we are in a very bike friendly town, not all drivers are looking out for cyclists.
